What Smriti is

Smriti is a wellness and connection service for families. You set it up once inside a WhatsApp chat — a voice note, a photo, three questions — and Smriti then sends your loved one a short, warm daily WhatsApp video message in a digital copy of your voice. Every message is AI-generated, and this is disclosed to you before anything begins.

What Smriti is not

Smriti is not a medical service or a medical device. It does not provide medical advice and it is not a substitute for professional care, or for real human contact. It is one small, warm thing layered on top of the care your family already gives.

What you promise us

By using Smriti you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 and are a family caregiver of the person who will receive the messages.
• You have the authority to arrange these messages on their behalf, and your family is aware the messages are AI-generated in your voice.
• The voice you record is your own, and the photo you share is of you.
• The receiving number you provide belongs to your loved one — we confirm it with a one-time code before anything is sent.
• You will not use Smriti to deceive, harass, or harm anyone, or to impersonate someone else’s voice.

Your controls

Reply STOP in the chat at any time and all messages pause immediately. Reply DELETE and your data is erased everywhere, including the voice copy at our voice partner, as described in our Privacy Policy. These controls always work and are never behind a payment.

The pilot, and pricing

Smriti is currently a free early pilot. We may introduce a paid plan later; if we do, we will tell you clearly in the chat first, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement. Safety features are never part of any price.

Our promises and our limits

We work hard to send a good message every day, and every message passes automatic review before it goes out — when a message cannot pass review, we hold it back rather than send it. But Smriti is an early-pilot service provided “as is”: we cannot promise uninterrupted delivery, and delivery also depends on WhatsApp and on your loved one’s phone. To the fullest extent Indian law allows, our liability for any claim arising out of the pilot service is limited to the amount you paid us for it — which, during the free pilot, is zero.

Your content

Your voice, your photo, and what you tell us about your loved one remain yours. You give us permission to use them for exactly one purpose — creating and delivering your daily messages — and that permission ends when you reply DELETE.

Ending things

You can stop or erase Smriti at any time, from the chat, with one word. We may pause or end the service for a user who breaks the promises above or uses Smriti in a way that could harm someone; where the law allows, we will tell you why.
